Profound Establishes Asia Pacific Headquarters in Singapore

Baku:Artificial intelligence marketing platform Profound has announced the establishment of its Asia Pacific (APAC) headquarters in Singapore. From this new base, the company plans to serve brands across Southeast Asia, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Profound will open its office in Singapore's Central Business District in the fourth quarter of 2026. This new office will house regional leadership, go-to-market, and customer teams, with plans to hire over 15 employees in the next 12 months, including a general manager for the APAC region.

James Cadwallader, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Profound, stated that Singapore is a strategic location for the company's expansion, noting its significance as a decision-making hub for major brands and its commitment to AI at high levels. He also mentioned that brands in the region have shown interest in the company even before it established a local presence.

This expansion follows Profound's successful US$180 million Series D funding round in September, which was co-led by Sequoia Capital and Kleiner Perkins. As part of its expansion plan, members of Profound's New York team will temporarily relocate to Singapore to assist in building the regional team.

Singapore is recognized as the leading adopter of AI in the APAC region and the second globally, with 61 percent of its population utilizing AI tools, as reported by Stanford University's 2026 AI Index. Profound's analysis of 1.8 million anonymized ChatGPT and Gemini conversations revealed a 23 percent increase in product and service-related interactions from January to September.

Profound's platform aids brands in tracking their presence in AI-generated responses, helping them identify and address market challenges through AI agents. The announcement of the new headquarters was made during Profound's Zero Click conference on October 29 at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore, marking the event's first APAC edition following Zero Click Sydney on October 27.
