Kampung batu: Police said the identity of a woman whose body was found in a bag buried behind an unoccupied house in Kampung Batu 4, Pedas, Rembau, yesterday, has yet to be identified. Negeri Sembilan deputy police chief SAC Muhammad Idzam Jaafar stated that the body's decomposition suggests that the woman had been dead for more than three days.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, DNA samples have been collected from individuals believed to be the victim's relatives, with results expected to take time. Muhammad Idzam explained that a post-mortem conducted at Rembau Hospital was unable to determine the cause of death due to the body's advanced decomposition.

Authorities have arrested a 51-year-old man in Genting Sempah, Pahang, at 3.09 pm today, following the earlier arrest of a first suspect in Melaka yesterday. The case is classified under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
