Kuala lumpur: Police have confirmed that skeletal remains found inside a gunny sack in an orchard opposite a factory here last month were human. Police have begun efforts to identify the deceased and investigate potential foul play.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, District police chief ACP Yusharifuddin Mohd Yusop stated that the remains have been verified as human. Currently, the case is classified as a sudden death report, and investigations are actively ongoing to determine further details surrounding the incident.

The discovery occurred on July 26, when a man reported finding the gunny sack while he was spraying weedkiller in his orchard. The police are working diligently to unravel the circumstances that led to the remains being found in such a manner.
