Police Confirm Na’imah, Two Sons Currently Overseas

Kuala lumpur: Police have confirmed that the widow of former finance minister Tun Daim Zainuddin, Toh Puan Na'imah Khalid, and her two sons are currently overseas: Police have confirmed that the widow of former finance minister Tun Daim Zainuddin, Toh Puan Na'imah Khalid, and her two sons are currently overseas.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department director Datuk M. Kumar stated that police had been trying to contact Na'imah since investigations into allegations of a plot to topple the government began earlier this year. Investigations revealed that Na'imah and her two sons, Muhammed Amir Zainuddin and Muhammed Amin Zainuddin, have been out of the country since the investigation started.

Kumar mentioned that police have already recorded statements from 17 individuals to assist with the investigation, which is being conducted under Section 124B of the Penal Code. "The investigation paper has been referred to the Attorney General's Chambers, and we are now awaiting further feedback and instructions," he announced at a press conference.

Media outlets previously suggested that Na'imah was linked to a conspiracy to overthrow the government, involving international media agencies and influential figures. However, Na'imah has denied these allegations, reportedly asserting that the police report was filed by a disgruntled former employee after being dismissed from her team.

Last month, the Kuala Lumpur Magistrate's Court issued warrants of arrest against Amir and Amin after they failed to appear at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters to provide statements.
