Seremban: The police have arrested a man who allegedly attacked a woman driver till she suffered injuries after an accident along Jalan Persiaran Senawang 4 here tonight.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Seremban district police chief Mohamad Hatta Che Din stated that the 35-year-old man was taken into custody at the Seremban district police headquarters this afternoon. The arrest was made to facilitate investigations under Section 323 and 427 of the Penal Code.

The incident occurred when the woman, aged 28, was driving a Perodua Axia from Mydin Senawang to Senawang. She reportedly could not avoid the suspect’s wife, 34, and their seven-year-old daughter, who suddenly crossed from the left side to the right side of the road around 10.15 pm. This resulted in the woman suffering bruising to her right ribs and swelling to the back of her head.

Following the accident, the suspect’s wife and daughter sustained minor injuries and were taken to Tuanku Ja’afar Hospital for further treatment. The police chief urged the public to refrain from speculating on the incident and advised pedestrians to exercise caution when crossing roads.
