Kuala Lumpur: The Federal and state governments must continue working hard to build a more inclusive and prosperous future for Malaysia, ensuring the well-being and welfare of the people. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim emphasized the importance of these efforts during his recent engagement with government officials.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Prime Minister Anwar stated that this endeavor includes expediting people-centric projects that require greater cooperation and coordination between the Federal and state governments. He highlighted the significance of projects like flood mitigation, schools, healthcare facilities, mosques, and public housing, noting that these initiatives also necessitate collaboration with the private sector and local authorities to achieve success.
Anwar, who also serves as the Finance Minister, communicated this message while chairing the Selangor State Development Special Meeting. The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar and Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, underscoring the commitment of key government figures to these developmental goals.
