Putrajaya: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will launch the National Education Plan (RPN) 2026-2035 in Putrajaya today, marking a significant step in education reform aimed at building a fairer, more competitive future for children based on strong values.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar stated that the new education plan involves collaboration between two key ministries: the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE). 'This is an education reform for a future where children have fairer opportunities, are more competitive and rooted in values, so that they can build meaningful and dignified lives,' he expressed in a Facebook post.
The launch ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre at 12.30 pm. The RPN 2026-2035 is designed as a national strategic education plan that comprehensively covers the entire education ecosystem in the country, extending from schools to higher education.
In a previous joint statement, the MOE and MOHE emphasized that the launch of the plan underscores the MADANI government's dedication to strengthening a quality, inclusive, and globally competitive education system.
