Kuala lumpur: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is scheduled to officiate the closing ceremony of the Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture and Agro-Tourism Exhibition (MAHA 2026) at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park (MAEPS), here tomorrow:

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar is expected to arrive at 10.30 am and will deliver the Closing Address at Hall D2, followed by the Closing Gimmick of the event.

The closing ceremony will also feature the Presentation of Agro Awards and a visit to the exhibition site by the Prime Minister, with the event concluding at 12 noon. The ceremony will be attended by the two Deputy Prime Ministers and the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu.

The 14th edition of MAHA is a significant event for the nation's agricultural sector, running for 10 days from August 28 to September 6. MAHA serves as a vital platform, bringing together industry players, government agencies, entrepreneurs, and research and higher education institutions to showcase developments in innovation, technology, and business opportunities within the agro-food sector.
