PM Anwar Scheduled to Tour Batu Caves Ahead of Thaipusam

Kuala Lumpur: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is set to visit Batu Caves tomorrow afternoon, just days before the upcoming Thaipusam celebration next Tuesday. This visit marks a significant engagement as Anwar intends to observe the ongoing preparations for the festival at the renowned Batu Caves temple.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Deputy Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk Seri R. Ramanan confirmed the visit, highlighting its importance. Ramanan, who oversees Indian community affairs, noted that Anwar personally communicated his plans to him yesterday evening.

The Prime Minister aims to gain insights into the preparations ahead of Thaipusam and spend valuable time with the Indian community. Ramanan shared Anwar’s eagerness to be present at Batu Caves this year, emphasizing his commitment to connecting with the community during this vibrant cultural event.
