PM Anwar Receives Courtesy Call From Perlis MB

Kuala lumpur: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today received a courtesy call from Perlis Menteri Besar Abu Bakar Hamzah at his office in the Parliament building.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar shared in a Facebook post that the meeting created an opportunity to discuss strengthening the cooperation between the Federal Government and the Perlis State Government.

The discussions also focused on the need to enhance efforts to assist the people of Perlis, emphasizing well-being, economic opportunities, and equitable development. Anwar reiterated the commitment of the MADANI Government to ensure that every state receives the necessary attention for the overall benefit of its people.

Abu Bakar, who serves as the Kuala Perlis State assemblyman, took office as Perlis Menteri Besar on December 28, succeeding Mohd Shukri Ramli, who stepped down due to health issues.
