According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar emphasized that northern Kedah is experiencing a prolonged dry spell, which is causing challenges for farmers and padi growers. In response, the Prime Minister has instructed the RMAF to increase cloud seeding efforts. Additionally, he has requested JBPM, despite its smaller capacity, to continue operations over the coming days.
In a further move, Anwar has also tasked the Meteorological Department with expediting similar operations in critically affected states like Kedah and Perlis. The Prime Minister underscored the urgency of addressing the current weather conditions and suggested the exploration of drone technology to tackle logistical challenges, ensuring a more efficient execution of the operations.
