PM Anwar Commends PUCM’s Initiatives In Strengthening Malaysia-China Business Ties

Kuala lumpur: The China Entrepreneurs Association in Malaysia's (PUCM) initiatives have contributed meaningfully to strengthening ties between the Malaysian business community and Chinese entrepreneurs in the country, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar highlighted the significance of the 6th China Smart Industry Trade Exhibition (CSITE) and the establishment of the Malaysia-China Digital Economy Alliance (MCDEA) as pivotal platforms for promoting exchanges between Malaysia and China. These initiatives particularly focus on the smart industry, digital innovation, and advanced technologies.

The Prime Minister expressed his optimism about the outcomes of these efforts, stating, "I am sure this event will result in even more collaboration to foster mutual growth." He emphasized that such initiatives are crucial in strengthening bilateral relations and advancing economic growth for both nations.

The event was attended by Deputy Communications Minister Teo Nie Ching, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Malaysia Ouyang Yujing, and PUCM President Datuk Keith Li. Anwar also expressed confidence that the 6th CSITE would create valuable opportunities for collaboration and mutual benefit, commending all exhibitors and participants for their roles in making the event successful.
