Kuala lumpur: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today attended a breaking of fast at Parliament House here. Present were Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul, Dewan Negara President Datuk Awang Bemee Awang Ali Basah, Cabinet members, MPs, senators, as well as Parliament staff.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the event was themed 'Islah MADANI: Memurni Jiwa, Membangun Ummah', and included a short tazkirah delivered by Federal Territories Mufti Datuk Dr Ahmad Fauwaz Fadzil. The gathering provided an opportunity for national leaders and parliamentary members to come together in unity and reflection during the holy month.

After breaking fast, the Prime Minister joined others in performing the maghrib prayer, which was led by National Mosque Grand Imam Ehsan Mohd Hosni, reinforcing the communal spirit and religious observance of the event.
