Kuala Lumpur: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today attended the Ihya Ramadan programme hosted by the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW). He arrived at the ministry at 12.05 pm and was welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister cum Minister of Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, and Deputy Minister Datuk Rubiah Wang.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, also present at the event were Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar and KKDW secretary-general Datuk Muhd Khair Razman Mohamed Annuar. The programme began with a meeting between the Prime Minister and the top management of KKDW, where they discussed matters related to the ministry’s key results areas.
Prime Minister Anwar then attended a religious talk by Ustaz Asri Hassan from MARA titled ‘Ramadan Yang Sempurna’. Following the talk, he joined the KKDW staff for the Zuhur prayers.
The Ihya Ramadan programme provided a platform for the Prime Minister to engage with the KKDW staff, emphasizing the spiritual essence of Ramadan through knowledge-sharing sessions.
