PKR To Strengthen Communication Strategy For Clearer Gov’t Messages

Melaka: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) will strengthen its communication strategy, particularly in information dissemination, to ensure the government's messages are conveyed more clearly to the public.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, PKR Information Chief, who is also Communications Minister Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil, stated that the move follows several proposals raised by delegates at the ongoing PKR National Congress 2026 at the Melaka International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITC), Ayer Keroh.

"This is important (to strengthen information dissemination and communication). Many have said that despite various government efforts and achievements, especially those related to macroeconomic matters, these have yet to be translated into improvements felt at the household level," Fahmi told reporters after visiting the media room during the congress.

Fahmi mentioned that several views and planned changes related to information dissemination and communication proposals would be presented during the winding-up session tomorrow. He emphasized the importance of branch leaders' commitment to playing a greater role in disseminating information, highlighting the need for a more formal arrangement to address issues at the parliamentary level and work out solutions in Putrajaya.

Additionally, Fahmi noted that the party's Central Leadership Council (MPP) was open to all proposals raised by delegates and would spearhead the transformation by implementing changes within the party's leadership first.
