Melaka:PKR is in the process of finalizing its list of candidates for the 16th Melaka State Election, scheduled for November 14, as stated by the party's vice-president, Datuk Seri R. Ramanan.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the announcement of the candidates who will represent PKR in the state election could occur within the next two or three weeks.

The Election Commission has set November 14 as the polling day for the Melaka state election, with candidate nominations on October 31 and early voting on November 10.

In the previous state election held in 2021, Barisan Nasional secured 21 of the 28 seats to form the state government. Pakatan Harapan won five seats, while Perikatan Nasional gained two.
