Kuala lumpur: PKR and Pakatan Harapan (PH) respect the right of each party to determine its own approach and strategy in the upcoming 16th Negeri Sembilan State Election. PKR secretary-general Datuk Dr Fuziah Salleh emphasized that any political decisions at the state level must align with the interests and aspirations of the Negeri Sembilan people.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Fuziah stated that Keadilan is committed to addressing issues related to the people's welfare, economic opportunities, cost of living, balanced development, and transparent governance. She underscored the importance of unity through consensus, asserting that sacrificing trust for victory is not part of PH's political strategy.
Fuziah highlighted that continuing the national development agenda and safeguarding the people's welfare are central to every political move by PKR and PH. As Deputy Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister, she acknowledged that differences in political strategies during state elections are common, reflecting the dynamic nature of politics.
She called on the entire Keadilan and PH machinery to stay focused, disciplined, and determined to win the people's confidence, thereby defending the PH mandate in Negeri Sembilan. The 36-seat Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly was dissolved on June 5, with the Election Commission setting early voting for July 28 and polling for August 1.
