PH-Led Negeri Sembilan Government Demonstrates Effective Resource Management: PM Anwar

Seremban: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has emphasized that the Pakatan Harapan (PH)-led administration in Negeri Sembilan is successfully returning state resources to the people through various developmental projects. He highlighted the reciprocal river widening and deepening projects in several areas as evidence of this capability, ensuring that development advances while benefiting the community.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, during his speech at the "Santai Petang Bersama Warga Ampangan" event at Benteng @ Medan Selera Ampangan, the Prime Minister specifically pointed to the river project in the Ampangan area. This initiative, conducted on a reciprocal basis by the Negeri Sembilan government, not only addresses flooding issues but also manages related resources transparently. The extracted sand from the project is being reused to support maintenance works and infrastructure improvements in the river areas, thus ensuring that the community benefits directly.

Anwar Ibrahim, who attended several PH campaign events for the 16th Negeri Sembilan State Election, stressed the importance of integrity-based governance. He asserted that all projects should prioritize the people's interests, advocating for continued integrity in state and national development.

Drawing from personal experience, Anwar recounted his involvement in negotiations for a hotel project in Port Dickson, where considerations for the local fishing community's welfare, including educational and housing improvements, were integral to the development plan.

The Prime Minister urged voters to make informed decisions in the upcoming Negeri Sembilan state election by supporting PH, which he believes embodies trustworthiness and dignity across diverse communities. "We choose people who are trustworthy. There are many good Malays, many good Indians, and many good Chinese who have dignity. Choose them and, insya-Allah, our future will be more secure," he stated.

In the forthcoming election, PH is contesting all 36 seats, with candidates from PKR, DAP, and Amanah. The Election Commission has designated August 1 for polling, with early voting scheduled for July 28.
