PH-GRS Alliance Strengthens Bid for Segama Seat in State Election

Segama: The strong collaboration between Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) could strengthen their chances at capturing the Segama seat from the opposition in this state election, said PH candidate for the seat, Romansa Lamin. He acknowledged that forging the collaboration was no easy task, but the openness of GRS supporters and leaders, along with a shared commitment to driving development in the area, enabled both sides to reach an agreement.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Romansa Lamin stated, “Starting today, we are fostering close cooperation and moving in tandem with GRS grassroots leadership. We will continue to meet and discuss the progress of the campaign,” during a Segama state constituency event aimed at meeting community leaders. The event was attended by GRS Lahad Datu division chief Datu Rajesh Mohd Yusof, as well as PH and GRS election machinery.

Romansa, along with the campaign team and heads of polling district centres, engaged in discussions with grassroots leaders in Segama. He highlighted the alliance’s focus on championing the welfare of the people, ensuring that Segama constituents enjoy a better and more secure life.

Romansa also emphasised that the PH-GRS alliance will persist until the conclusion of the state polls, with both parties coordinating efforts in Segama should they win the seat.
