Petra jaya: Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) Chief Executive Officer Datin Paduka Nur-ul Afida Kamaludin, along with senior management members, visited Ratnawaty Abdul Hai, the widow of the late Muhamad Razali Nordin, at her home in Taman Sukma today. Muhamad Razali, a Sarawak Bureau photographer, passed away at 54 at Sarawak General Hospital on April 26.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Nur-ul Afida stated that Bernama remains committed to supporting Muhamad Razali's family by offering welfare assistance and ensuring all necessary arrangements are managed efficiently. During the visit, Bernama presented group term life insurance benefits, cash award in lieu of leave (GCR) payments, and other entitlements due to the deceased. Nur-ul Afida also assured Ratnawaty that efforts are being made to expedite the payment of her late husband's pension.

Present at the visit were Bernama editor-in-chief Arul Rajoo Durar Raj, head of Management Services and Finance Sharifah Zaini Syed Zain, head of the Commercial Department Mastura Hassan, and Photo Marketing manager Fariz Rizal Mardzri. Nur-ul Afida praised Muhamad Razali as a dedicated staff member who was held in high regard by his colleagues and expressed her hope for Ratnawaty to receive strength during this challenging period. She reaffirmed Bernama's commitment to providing assistance whenever needed.

Muhamad Razali, originally from Batu Gajah, Perak, served Bernama with dedication and commitment for three decades. His widow, Ratnawaty, expressed her gratitude towards Bernama's management for their concern over her husband's welfare, particularly appreciating the contributions made through Tabung Kasih@HAWANA. She acknowledged the agency's support, which has been significant to her family during this difficult time.
