Chicago: Perma-Pipe International Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: PPIH) announced financial results for the third quarter ended October 31, 2025, revealing significant growth in net sales and profit.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the company reported net sales of $61.1 million for the quarter, marking a $19.5 million increase, or 46.9%, compared to $41.6 million in the same quarter of the previous year. This growth was attributed to higher sales volumes in the Middle East and North America. Gross profit rose to $21.0 million, an increase of $6.9 million from the previous year's $14.1 million, due to increased activity levels.
Selling, general, and administrative expenses climbed to $8.3 million from $7.3 million, largely driven by increased payroll and professional fees. This includes approximately $0.5 million related to Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance as the company transitions from a small reporting company to an accelerated filer. The effective tax rate dropped to 27% from 32% in the prior-year quarter, influenced by product mix across various tax jurisdictions. Consequently, net income attributable to common stock surged to $6.3 million, representing a $3.8 million increase, or 152.0%, compared to $2.5 million in the third quarter of fiscal 2024, stated President and CEO Saleh Sagr.
