Perlis MSN Unveils New Logo to Embody Commitment to World-Class Athlete Development

Kangar: The Perlis Sports Council (MSN) has revealed a new official logo, marking a significant transformation in its mission to support high-performance sports and nurture young athletes capable of competing at the international level. Raja Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, emphasized that this change is more than just aesthetic; it represents MSN’s revitalized dedication to maintaining competitiveness and relevance in the national sports landscape.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin elaborated on the significance of the new logo during its launch, stating that it symbolizes qualities such as courage and strength. The lion sketch, creatively formed from the letters M-S-N-Ps, reinforces the council’s identity and underscores its commitment to developing athletes who could potentially reach the Olympic stage. The launch event was attended by Perlis Menteri Besar Mohd Shukri Ramli.

In addition to unveiling the new logo, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin proposed eight strategic initiatives aimed at building a solid foundation for athlete development. These strategies focus on fostering self-discipline, enhancing mental resilience, conducting intensive training, and incorporating sports technology into training regimens.

Encouraging athletes to wear the yellow and blue badge with pride, the Raja Muda of Perlis highlighted the unique spirit of the people of Perlis. He stressed that there are no shortcuts in sports and that success is achieved through consistency and perseverance, regardless of setbacks.

Tuanku Syed Faizuddin also expressed optimism about the state contingent’s prospects at the upcoming Malaysia Games (SUKMA) in Selangor, setting a goal to exceed 20 gold medals. The Perlis contingent demonstrated impressive performance at the 2024 SUKMA Games in Sarawak, securing a total of 43 medals, including 12 gold, 15 silver, and 16 bronze.
