Perak State Government Plans 340 Rumah Perakku Homes in Kota Prima

Kota prima: The Perak state government has announced its plan to develop 340 Rumah Perakku units in Kota Prima, with full completion targeted for next year. Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad shared details about the housing project, which will span 14.58 hectares and be executed in two phases.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, phase one of the project will include 199 units comprising 48 Rumah Perakku I, 38 Rumah Perakku II, and 113 Rumah Perakku III. Phase two will add 141 single-storey terrace houses, totaling 340 units. Each unit is designed with a built-up area of about 800 square feet, featuring three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The pricing for these homes will range from RM90,000 to RM250,000, ensuring affordability for the B40 and M40 income groups.

Menteri Besar Saarani emphasized that this development aligns with the Muallim district's growth as a national automotive hub under the Automotive High-Tech Valley initiative. This growth is anticipated to increase housing demand and stimulate local economic development. Additionally, the project's strategic location-approximately six kilometers from Proton City and 6.8 kilometers from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris-enhances its appeal as a promising residential area.

Saarani further mentioned that the state government remains committed to expanding Rumah Perakku developments in other strategic locations, supporting the state's inclusive housing policy and providing more opportunities for homeownership.
