Perak: The Perak government is exploring collaboration with EdQuest International School and Rochford’s Education to develop an artificial intelligence (AI) roadmap as part of its effort to strengthen the state’s digital agenda under the Perak Sejahtera 2030 plan. State Communications, Multimedia and Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) Committee chairman Mohd Azlan Helmi highlighted the potential benefits of partnering with these private education institutions, given their expertise in AI through education and business.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Mohd Azlan referenced the Momentum app by MojoNational.ai, a tool developed with both institutions, which is designed to ease learning. This app demonstrates the group’s digital capabilities and could align with the state’s Digital Perak AI framework. Mohd Azlan expressed optimism about synchronizing this tool with the state’s framework and announced plans to arrange follow-up discussions between Digital Perak and EdQuest to explore potential collaboration.
Mohd Azlan also encouraged developers of AI-based applications to engage with the state government. He emphasized that the government is open to and willing to assist others in advancing AI in Perak. The aim is to create opportunities for these platforms to collaborate and progress collectively.
