Perak KPDN Seizes 11,500 Litres Of Diesel In Construction Site Raid

Teluk intan: The Perak Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) seized 11,500 litres of suspected misappropriated diesel during a raid at a construction site on Jalan Changkat Jong near Teluk Intan, yesterday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Director Datuk Kamaluddin Ismail stated that the 2.40 pm raid was conducted under Ops Tiris 2025, following a week of intelligence gathering and surveillance. An inspection of the premises uncovered the diesel stored in a skid tank and a lorry.

A 29-year-old man claiming to be a site supervisor failed to produce any permission, licence or permit to store controlled goods when requested by the enforcement team. The case is being investigated under the Control of Supplies Act 1961 on suspicion of storing scheduled controlled goods without written permission from the Controller of Supplies.

The seized items are estimated at RM140,200. Further investigations are targeting a supplier company in the Klang Valley. The company is alleged to have entered into transactions with buyers without ensuring they held the required licenses or permits.
