Penang: Penang police are seeking a man who is a key witness to assist in the investigation of a case under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. Timur Laut district police chief ACP Abdul Rozak Muhammad identified the man as Mohd Amiruddin Mazlan, 35, whose last known address was at Desa Permai Indah, Sungai Dua in Gelugor here.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, police are urgently trying to locate the man to assist in the drug-related investigation as he is an important witness in the case. ACP Abdul Rozak Muhammad stated in a statement today that the man, or anyone with information about him, is asked to contact the investigating officer of the Narcotics Criminal Investigation Division of the Timur Laut district police headquarters, Insp Nur Hasanah Jamil at 019-3660848.
