Kuala lumpur: The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) today announced the transfer of six senior officers effective February 9, 2026, involving reciprocal postings across several strategic Bukit Aman departments and the Sentul District Police Headquarters.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, PDRM secretary DCP Abdul Rahman Kassim stated that the transfers include positions at the Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (JSJN) and the Internal Security and Public Order Department (JKDNKA) at Bukit Aman. He specified that Datuk Mohd Zaki Ashar, who previously served as Deputy Director of Narcotics (Enforcement/Prevention/General Policing) at JSJN, is now appointed as Commander of the Wildlife Crime Bureau/Intelligence and Special Investigation Division of the General Operations Force (PGA), JKDNKA.
The Deputy Director of Narcotics (Enforcement/Prevention/General Policing) JSJN position will now be occupied by SAC Zairulnizam Mohd Zainuddin Hilmi. He previously held the role of Commander of the Wildlife Crime Bureau/Intelligence and Special Investigation Division, PGA, JKDNKA.
Changes also affect the post of Sentul District Police Chief. ACP Ahmad Sukarno Mohd Zahari, who formerly held this position, has been appointed as ACP of the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department (JPJKK) Secretariat at Bukit Aman. ACP Basri Sagoni, who was previously the ACP of JPJKK Secretariat Bukit Aman, will now serve as Sentul District Police Chief.
Additionally, ACP Rahiman Abdullah Yacob, formerly Assistant Director (Commercial Crime/Property Investigation) of the Commercial Crime Investigation Department (JSJK), has been appointed as Assistant Director (Administration) of the Human Resource Policy Division, Management Department, Bukit Aman. ACP J.S. Gurbinder Singh Mann, who previously served in this administrative role, has been reassigned as Assistant Director (Commercial Crime/Property Investigation) at JSJK Bukit Aman.
