PDRM Announces Transfer Of 11 Senior Officers

Kuala lumpur: The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) today announced the transfer of 11 senior officers, involving personnel in several Bukit Aman departments and district police chiefs in several states. PDRM secretary DCP Abdul Rahman Kassim stated that the transfers involve postings in the Management Department, Special Branch, Commercial Crime Investigation Department, and the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department at Bukit Aman.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, among the key appointments, Datuk Mohd Faisal Yahya, previously the Bukit Aman Management (Administration) principal assistant director, has been appointed deputy director of management (administration) of the department with the acting rank of DCP. SAC Abd Rahman Atan, who served as head of the Inspector-General of Police (legal) secretariat, is now the deputy director (Standards Compliance) of the Bukit Aman Integrity and Standards Compliance Department with the acting rank of DCP. Additionally, Bukit Aman Special Branch assistant director E7A SAC Mohamed Roslan Ahmed Junaidi has been appointed principal assistant director E7 of the department with the acting rank of DCP.

Furthermore, Abdul Rahman announced that Seberang Perai Tengah district police chief ACP Helmi Aris has been transferred to head the Johor Management Department with the acting rank of SAC. Wangsa Maju district police chief ACP Mohamad Lazim Ismail will now serve as deputy director (Strategic Planning) of the Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department, also with the acting rank of SAC. ACP Che Haniza Che Senapi, previously assistant director of Crime Prevention Operations (Operations) of the Bukit Aman Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department, has been appointed principal assistant director (Support Resource Coordination) of the same division with the acting rank of SAC.

The statement further included that ACP Annas Sulaiman, Director of Integrated Operations at the National Financial Crimes Prevention Centre (NFCC) in the Prime Minister's Department, has been named the new Wangsa Maju district police chief. In other key transfers, Putrajaya District deputy police chief Supt Azari Miskon will serve as the new Sibu district police chief with the acting rank of ACP. Supt Johar Dasuki, the chief training officer (Budget/Monitoring) of the Bukit Aman Management Department Training Division, has been appointed commandant of the Air Hitam Police Training Centre (PULAPOL) with the acting rank of ACP.

Additional transfers include Tawau district deputy police chief Supt Champin Piuh assuming the post of Beaufort district police chief, and Sabak Bernam district deputy police chief DSP Khalid Mohamad being appointed Muallim district police chief, both carrying the acting rank of Supt.
