PayNet Rolls Out Refreshed DuitNow QR Standee To Boost Visibility Nationwide

Kuala lumpur: Payments Network Malaysia Sdn Bhd (PayNet) has refreshed the design of the DuitNow QR standee to enhance the visibility and consistency of Malaysia’s national quick response (QR) standard. The update is purely visual, ensuring that DuitNow QR’s functionality, security, and interoperability remain unchanged, allowing consumers and merchants to continue their transactions as usual.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the deployment of the new standee began in October 2025. RHB Bank Bhd, Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd, MBSB Bank, and Agrobank were among the first to introduce the refreshed design to their merchants. Following them, CIMB Bank Bhd, Public Bank Bhd, Hong Leong Bank Bhd, AmBank (M) Bhd, Bank Simpanan Nasional, and Bank Muamalat Malaysia Bhd are set to deploy the standee, with other banks to follow.

The rollout is being conducted gradually to ensure a smooth transition across the ecosystem. Businesses are encouraged to adopt the revamped standee once it becomes available through their respective acquirers, as stated by PayNet.
