Kuala lumpur: PAS has announced its 11 candidates for the Johor state election. The announcement was made by PAS vice-president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar at Laman Muafakat here tonight.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Election Commission (EC) has set Saturday, June 27, as nomination day for the Johor polls, while polling will take place on July 11. This follows the dissolution of the Johor State Legislative Assembly on June 1.

The list of PAS candidates for the 16th Johor state election includes Saifullah Abdul Wahab for N2 Jementah, Normala Sudirman for N5 Tenang, and Arshed Yahya @ Awang for N13 Simpang Jeram. Other candidates are Mohamad Anuar Hayan for N15 Maharani, Muhammad Amin Sailan for N16 Sungai Balang, Halim Kepol for N17 Semerah, Ahmad Rosdi Bahari for N18 Sri Medan, Mazlan Bujang for N31 Kahang, Hasnul Hakimi Hussien for N32 Endau, Yuhanita Yunan for N35 Pasir Raja, and Khirul Muntanazar Ismail for N40 Tiram.
