Gambang: Sultan of Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah today launched the Pahang Skor A+ SPM Road Tour and YASA-UMPSA 2025 Community Tuition Programme at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) in Gambang. Also present was the Tengku Mahkota of Pahang Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Al-Sultan Abdullah expressed his best wishes to candidates preparing for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination this year. He emphasized the importance of aiming for excellence, encouraging students to achieve nothing less than an A+ in their results. His words underscored a commitment to success and a determination to excel.
Yayasan Al-Sultan Abdullah (YASA) general manager Mohd Fakhrul Islam Juhali highlighted that over 2,000 SPM candidates from across the state are participating in the two-day Skor A+ seminar. Organized by YASA in collaboration with PTTI Group Sdn Bhd, the programme aims to equip students with effective study strategies, answering techniques, and motivational support.
Mohd Fakhrul Islam also discussed future plans, stating that in line with the Sultan’s vision of fostering a knowledgeable and competitive generation, YASA and PTTI are organizing a Skor A+ SPM School Tour Seminar. This initiative will reach 198 secondary schools throughout the state from January to June 2026.
The YASA-UMPSA 2025 Community Tuition Programme, run in partnership with Yayasan UMPSA, is designed to aid SPM students in Kuantan and Pekan, with a focus on those from B40 and asnaf families. This programme will be conducted in phases during weekends or evenings at community centres, supported by UMPSA lecturers, volunteers, and local partners.
Mohd Fakhrul Islam also noted that Al-Sultan Abdullah’s involvement in the programme demonstrates his commitment to the future of Pahang’s younger generation. His presence and encouragement serve as motivation for students in Pahang to pursue excellence in their SPM examinations.
