Kuantan: The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, has announced that all houses constructed in the state must adhere to high quality standards and be completed on schedule. His Royal Highness emphasized the importance of adhering to construction timelines to avoid increased costs, which could adversely affect both developers and homebuyers.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Sultan stressed that substandard housing is unacceptable, equating it to a form of deceit. He highlighted the necessity for homes to offer adequate space for families and mentioned that features such as WiFi and solar facilities contribute value to housing projects. These remarks were made during the launch event of Residensi D’Marina, where he also witnessed a partnership agreement between Citaglobal Telecommunication Sdn Bhd and PR1MA Communications Sdn Bhd.
The event was graced by the presence of Pahang Investment, Industry, Science, Technology, and Innovation Committee chairman Datuk Mohamad Nizar Najib, along with Citaglobal Bhd executive chairman and president Tan Sri Mohamad Norza Zakaria. The Sultan also expressed a desire for more Kuala Lumpur residents to consider homeownership outside the capital, particularly in areas like Kuantan and Bentong, as new developments are anticipated along the forthcoming East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) route.
Residensi D’Marina, the focal point of the event, is a joint venture between Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia (PR1MA) and Citaglobal Property. The development boasts strategic connectivity via the Tanjung Lumpur Bridge and Putra Bridge. In alignment with Citaglobal’s clean energy goals, the homes in D’Marina Phase 2B are designed to be solar-ready, allowing homeowners to potentially reduce electricity bills by up to 60 per cent.
