Kuala Lumpur: Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, and Tengku Ampuan of Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, have conveyed their condolences to Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin and his family following the passing of his mother-in-law.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Their Royal Highnesses shared their message of sympathy on Facebook, expressing their prayers for the late Datin Hajah Salmiah Nyak Matt, aged 84, to be placed among the righteous and pious. The message also included a hope for Allah SWT to grant strength to the grieving family and continue to bestow them with His mercy and love.

Media reports yesterday indicated that Hamzah’s mother-in-law tragically died in a fire that occurred at a double-storey house in Kampung Sungai Rapat Tambahan, Ipoh, Perak, on Thursday.
