Pahang Ruler Urges Swift Action on Infrastructure for Rural Areas

Pahang: The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, has called for more proactive efforts from relevant parties to ensure the provision of basic amenities such as electricity and water supply across Pahang, particularly focusing on rural and interior regions.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, a statement from the Pahang Royal Household on the Kesultanan Pahang Facebook page emphasized the Sultan's commitment to the welfare of the people. His Royal Highness desires that all societal levels in the state have access to essential facilities to improve their quality of life.

The Sultan of Pahang also expressed gratitude to Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) and the Jerantut District and Land Office for their rapid response in providing electricity to a family in Kampung Kuala Sat, Ulu Tembeling, Jerantut. The family had been living without electricity for nearly 13 years and had recently gained attention by stopping the Sultan's convoy to request assistance.

His Royal Highness personally stopped to listen to the family's difficulties, leading to immediate actions by TNB and local authorities. As a result, the necessary installations were completed, and electricity was supplied to their home.
