Pahang: The Pahang government today received a courtesy call from a Singaporean delegation led by Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong, aimed at strengthening bilateral ties. Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail stated that the meeting provided a platform for strategic discussions to enhance cooperation between Pahang and Singapore, particularly in investment, economic development, tourism, education, and other high-impact sectors.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, members of the Singaporean delegation included Singapore Minister of State for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Social and Family Development Zhulkarnain Abdul Rahim, Member of Parliament Joan Pereira, Singapore High Commissioner to Malaysia Vanu Gopala Menon, as well as officials from Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Pahang government leadership, including the State Public Works, Transport and Health Committee Chairman Datuk Ir Razali Kassim, State Investment, Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation Committee Chairman Datuk Mohamad Nizar Mohamad Najib, and the State Secretary Datuk Seri Nazri Abu Bakar, welcomed them. Lee is on a five-day visit to Pahang and Terengganu from yesterday until May 8.
