KUANTAN: The Pahang government is considering the installation of solar panels for PR1MA housing projects, Local Government, Housing, Environment and Green Technology Committee chairman Datuk Mohammad Fakhruddin Mohd Ariff said. He mentioned that discussions are underway with Tenaga Nasional Berhad, and if deemed appropriate, the proposal will be presented to the Property and Housing Board for approval.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Datuk Mohammad Fakhruddin expressed that if the proposal is approved, rooftop solar panels will be implemented for PR1MA homes to help reduce the monthly electricity bills for residents.
