PAC Reviews Implementation Of RCI Recommendations On LTH

Kuala lumpur: The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has conducted a detailed review of the implementation of the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) recommendations concerning Lembaga Tabung Haji (LTH). The focus of this review was to assess the progress and effectiveness of the measures adopted following the recommendations.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the PAC's examination is a part of ongoing efforts to ensure that the reforms proposed by the RCI are being properly implemented. The committee's evaluation aims to address any gaps or issues that may arise in the process of executing these recommendations, which are crucial for the integrity and performance of LTH.

The PAC's review process involves scrutinizing various aspects of the implementation, including financial management, governance practices, and operational strategies within LTH. By doing so, the committee seeks to provide oversight and maintain public trust in the institution's handling of pilgrim funds and related activities.

The outcomes of the PAC's review and any subsequent actions or recommendations will be monitored closely by stakeholders and the public, given the significance of LTH's role in managing hajj pilgrimage funds for Malaysian Muslims. The findings are expected to contribute to enhancing transparency and accountability within the organization.
