Kuala lumpur: More than 40 hotels and accommodation providers across the Klang Valley and several other states are offering exclusive accommodation promotions in conjunction with Citrawarna 2026 to boost tourism during the festival and the Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) campaign.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Tourism Malaysia stated that the offers include attractive room rates and package deals aimed at providing visitors with comfortable accommodation options. These promotions are available for booking from mid-July until mid-August 2026, presenting an ideal option for visitors planning a short getaway during the festival. Visitors can take advantage of these offers by booking directly through the participating hotels' official websites or by making direct bookings.

Further information, including the list of participating hotels, package details, and the Citra Rasa initiative, will be announced via social media platforms @citrawarna.my and @malaysia.truly.asia, or through the website www.malaysia.travel.

According to Tourism Malaysia, in addition to accommodation promotions, participating hotels are supporting Citrawarna 2026 through the Citra Rasa (Colours of Flavour) initiative. This involves introducing dishes inspired by the culinary heritage of every Malaysian state at their respective cafes and restaurants. This initiative allows visitors to enjoy a diverse selection of traditional dishes, each rich in Malaysia's unique culinary heritage.

The collaboration between Tourism Malaysia and industry players underscores their shared commitment to strengthening Malaysia's position as a world-class cultural tourism destination.
