Kuala lumpur: Fintech and data intelligence firm, One Strategy Group Sdn Bhd, has launched an innovative platform named One Credit, aimed at enhancing risk management, know-your-customer (KYC), and credit underwriting processes. This integrated platform is powered by artificial intelligence (AI) and is designed to serve as a technology-driven data hub. It seeks to empower banks and businesses to underwrite loans and trade credit with increased confidence, while also assisting individuals in better understanding their financial standing.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Liew Tian Rong, the co-founder and chief executive officer of One Strategy Group, emphasized the platform's commitment to advancing the future of financial technology for all. As the latest credit bureau in Malaysia, One Credit generates credit reports for individuals and businesses, aiding small and medium enterprises (SMEs), consumers, and banks in managing risks and achieving financial objectives. The platform is focused on integrating data, intelligence, and technology into daily workflows and processes.
The official launch of One Credit was graced by the presence of Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) chairman, Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz, and was attended by key figures from financial institutions, corporate partners, and members of Malaysia's fintech ecosystem. The event underscored the significance of the platform in supporting informed credit and risk decisions through predictive analytics and intelligent decision tools.
One Credit assures users of strict data governance, full compliance with the Malaysia Personal Data Protection Act 2010, and high-level security standards, ensuring that all insights provided are secure, responsible, and reliable. Tengku Zafrul highlighted that the platform's use of AI offers unified credit insights and assesses a company's creditworthiness, thus enabling SMEs to participate more effectively in the economy. This initiative aligns with the digital transformation goals envisioned for the nation.
