Kuala lumpur: Digital technology company Systech Bhd today announced that Datuk Mohd Azizulhasni Awang has emerged as a substantial shareholder in the company.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Mohd Azizulhasni, who is Malaysia’s Olympic cycling medallist, has acquired 34.69 million ordinary shares, representing 5.28 per cent of Systech’s total issued share capital through LMY Holdings Sdn Bhd. Additionally, Aspiration Partners PLT, in which Mohd Azizulhasni is one of the three founding members, has also become a substantial shareholder via indirect interest in the same block of shares.
Systech stated that Mohd Azizulhasni separately holds a direct personal interest in 30,000 Systech shares. The company emphasized that with the involvement of Mohd Azizulhasni and the backing of progressive stakeholders, their focus remains on accelerating innovation, expanding regional presence, and creating long-term value for shareholders.
