Kuala lumpur: NuEnergy Holdings Bhd (NHB) has secured two large-scale solar photovoltaic plant (LSSPV) contracts in Sabah, worth RM56.3 million. In a Bursa Malaysia filing today, NHB announced it received a letter of award from Muhibbah Solar Sdn Bhd for the engineering, construction, and commissioning of a 15 megawatt alternating current (MWac) large-scale solar photovoltaic plant (LSSPV) in Beaufort, Sabah, valued at RM16.89 million.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, NHB also received a second letter of award for RM39.41 million from Muhibbah Solar for the sale and purchase of solar materials for the project. The company stated that this contract is expected to strengthen its presence and accelerate market penetration in East Malaysia.
The contract is anticipated to contribute positively to NHB’s revenue and profitability, while highlighting the company’s technical capability and capacity to deliver large-scale projects in East Malaysia. NHB believes this development will reinforce its reputation and competitiveness within the regional market, further positioning the company for continued growth and future opportunities across East Malaysia.
The project is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2026 and is expected to contribute positively to earnings and net assets per share for the financial year ending December 31, 2026.
