According to BERNAMA News Agency, the ministry’s Perak enforcement director, Datuk Kamalludin Ismail, stated that the goods were confiscated after a 79-year-old local man, who claimed ownership of the premises, was unable to present the necessary storage permit as mandated under the Control of Supplies Act 1961.

The items seized included 104 tanks of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), 19 bottles of cooking oil, cooking oil in packets totaling 40 kilogrammes, 132 kg of sugar, and 396 kg of wheat flour, with a total value of RM10,935.70, as detailed in a statement released today.
