Kulim: No police report has been lodged over allegations that a male student from a school in Kulim was bullied last year. Kedah police chief Datuk Adzli Abu Shah stated that the individuals believed to be involved, including their parents, have been identified.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the police have identified and called in two suspects, both aged 12 at the time of the incident, as well as the victim, who is now 12. Investigations have been carried out, and appropriate measures have been taken to ensure the incident does not recur. Adzli mentioned that investigations found no physical injuries on the victim. However, the police continue to support efforts through counselling and awareness programmes to curb bullying.
He added that both suspects and the victim, who was found to be experiencing trauma, have received counselling. Earlier, a 54-second video went viral on social media showing Adzli accompanying Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail during a community outreach programme at a house in Labu Besar, Kulim. During the visit, the minister was seen engaging with a 12-year-old boy, who initially remained silent before saying he was afraid to go to school for fear of being bullied.
