Pulau bum bum: The Finance Ministry (MOF) has issued a reminder that the one-off RM100 Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (SARA) cash aid distributed on August 31 required no application process and will be directly credited to each recipient’s identification card.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Deputy Treasury secretary-general (Policy) Datuk Zamzuri Abdul Aziz emphasized that the cash aid does not utilize any e-Wallet service. He urged the public to be cautious of scams claiming to assist with applications or offering links to any e-Wallet services.
Zamzuri clarified that the SARA cash aid process excludes any middlemen, ensuring that the RM100 is directly credited to the identification cards of eligible individuals aged 18 and above. He conveyed this information to reporters after inspecting the Rahmah Cash Aid programme in Pulau Bum Bum.
