Tokyo: NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS, Inc. has announced the completion of a 20% stock acquisition in Cold Chain Bangladesh Limited (CCBL) through its subsidiary, Nippon Express (South Asia and Oceania) Pte. Ltd. This acquisition is part of the company’s strategic expansion in the logistics sector within Bangladesh. The transaction was finalized on May 15, 2025.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Cold Chain Bangladesh Limited is involved in domestic logistics operations, and this acquisition represents Nippon Express Holdings’ commitment to enhancing its logistics capabilities in Bangladesh. The acquisition is expected to bolster the company’s presence in the South Asian market, leveraging CCBL’s existing infrastructure and expertise in cold chain logistics.
