Negeri Sembilan Records Revenue Surpassing RM250 Million by Mid-May

Negeri Sembilan: Negeri Sembilan has reported a state revenue of RM250.66 million from January until mid-May, as announced by Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun. This revenue accounts for 42.48 per cent of the state’s revenue target of RM590 million for the year and marks an increase compared to the same period last year.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Negeri Sembilan attracted investments worth RM7.25 billion last year, resulting in the creation of over 4,600 jobs. Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun shared these insights during his speech at the State Government’s 2024 Excellent Service Awards (APC), where 519 individuals were recognized for their service.

At the event, Aminuddin also introduced the official logo for Visit Negeri Sembilan Year 2026 (TMNS2026), which emphasizes three major tourism segments: beach tourism, ecotourism, and the cultural heritage of Adat Perpatih. The TMNS2026 logo aims to showcase the region’s attractions, from the beach resorts of Port Dickson to the rainforests at the Titiwangsa Range, and the distinctive architecture of Adat Perpatih.

Aminuddin further noted that these tourism initiatives are aligned with the Visit Malaysia Year 2026 (VM2026) campaign, which highlights Malaysia’s cultural richness and natural beauty. He stressed the importance of executing strategic initiatives to attract 20 million tourists this year, including boosting international promotions, participating in tourism expos, and forming collaborations with travel agents.

He called on civil servants to act as ambassadors for TMNS2026 and to strive for continuous improvement in public service delivery.
