Kuala lumpur: The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) is turning appreciation into rewards, offering Simpan SSPN depositors the chance to win attractive prizes totalling almost RM1.4 million in its 2026 Draw Campaign.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, PTPTN chairman Datuk Seri Norliza Abdul Rahim announced that the campaign, which began on January 1, will reward 954 winners with prizes across three unique categories: the WOW! Plus Loyalty Draw 2026 (annual category), the WOW! Plus Series Draw, and the Simpan SSPN Baru Slay! Draw.
"For the first time, PTPTN is introducing the Simpan SSPN Baru Slay! Draw to encourage participation from the younger generation. This draw is open to Simpan SSPN Prime and Simpan SSPN Plus depositors aged 16 to 29 who open an account or make additional savings during the campaign period. Depositors are required to make their savings via the myPTPTN application during the campaign period to take part in this draw," she stated at the launch of the Simpan SSPN Draw Campaign 2026.
Norliza also highlighted that the campaign aims to foster a culture of saving while offering all depositors the opportunity to participate in the Simpan SSPN Draw 2026, which will be held throughout the year.
PTPTN stated in a release that the WOW! Plus Loyalty Draw 2026 features an exciting array of prizes, including a grand prize of a Honda CR-V 1.5L E, two Perodua Ativa 1.0L Turbo AVs, cash prizes of RM30,000 for three winners, and RM1,000 consolation prizes for 250 winners.
"For the WOW! Plus Series Draw category, the prizes offered are RM20,000 cash for one winner, RM15,000 for two winners, RM10,000 for three winners, and a consolation prize of RM500 for 50 winners per series. The Simpan SSPN Baru Slay! Draw will give away a Yamaha NVX 155 for one winner, four iPhone 17 Pros, 10 DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Creator Combos, and RM500 consolation prizes for 250 winners per series," the statement elaborated.
The WOW! Plus Loyalty Draw 2026 was created as a token of appreciation for loyal depositors who had opened accounts by December 31, 2025, and increased their savings during the campaign period. Meanwhile, the WOW! Plus Series Draw is accessible to both new and existing depositors who opened accounts or made additional savings during the campaign period.
To participate in the campaign, depositors simply need to open an account or make additional savings. Every RM50 in net savings automatically qualifies them for five draws, with savings made via the myPTPTN application, salary deduction, or direct debit entitling them to 10 draws, doubling their chances of winning.
During the same event, PTPTN celebrated the winners of the WOW! Simpan SSPN Draw 2025 in the WOW! Annual Draw and WOW! Superheroes Series Draw categories. Among the winners was 56-year-old retired teacher Umi Kalsum Abd Razak, who took home a Mercedes-Benz A250 4MATIC AMG Line after winning the WOW! Annual Draw in the Platinum category.
Suhaida Raeze, 36, won the grand prize of RM30,000 in cash in the WOW! Superheroes Series Draw, expressing her gratitude for the unexpected win, as she had only opened a Simpan SSPN Plus account for her two daughters last year.
Evita Ang Yen Yen, 30, from Bau, Sarawak, who won a Toyota Vios 1.5G AT in the WOW! Annual Draw Gold category, shared that she had chosen the Simpan SSPN Prime account for its high dividends and tax assessment relief, and was pleasantly surprised to win a car.
