Nearly 13,000 Candidates Set to Sit for SPM Repeat Exam from Tomorrow

Kuala lumpur: A total of 12,974 candidates have registered to sit the 2026 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia Repeat Examination (SPMU), which will be held over three days beginning tomorrow. In a statement today, the Ministry of Education (MOE) said the SPMU would cover three subjects, namely Bahasa Melayu, History, and Mathematics, and would be conducted at 188 examination centres nationwide.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the MOE reminded all 2026 SPMU candidates to refer to the examination timetable for information on the dates, times, subject codes, examination papers, and instructions that must be adhered to throughout the examination period. The SPMU 2026 examination timetable can be downloaded from the Examinations Syndicate's official portal at lp.moe.gov.my.

The MOE stated that 1,530 examination personnel had been appointed for the written and Bahasa Melayu listening tests, while a further 1,366 personnel would oversee the Bahasa Melayu speaking test to ensure the smooth administration of the examinations. Candidates are also reminded to bring their identification documents and examination registration slips to their examination centres. The slips can be downloaded through the Online Examination Management System link at sppat.moe.gov.my.

The MOE expressed its wishes for all candidates to have good health, safety, and success in their examinations.
