Kuala lumpur: Communications Minister Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil today called on Malaysians to honour the contributions and sacrifices of national heroes in defending the nation's sovereignty, peace and independence.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Fahmi emphasized the importance of remembering the courage, loyalty, and fighting spirit of the nation's heroes, urging Malaysians to draw inspiration from their efforts to safeguard unity, cherish peace, and serve the country.
"The contributions of our national heroes will always be remembered, and their sacrifices in defending the nation will never be forgotten," Fahmi stated. He highlighted the significance of Warriors' Day, celebrated annually on July 31, as a time to honor the service and sacrifices made by these individuals for the sovereignty, peace, and independence of Malaysia.
Fahmi expressed gratitude to the members of the Malaysian Armed Forces, the Royal Malaysia Police, and all security forces for their continued dedication to ensuring the safety of the people and the well-being of the nation. He shared these sentiments in a post on X, underscoring their unwavering commitment to the country.
