Nadia Kesuma Found Safe After Disappearance at Jeddah Airport

Jeddah: The Foreign Ministry has confirmed that actress Nadia Kesuma, who was reported missing while transiting at King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah last Thursday, has exited the airport premises. Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan announced the confirmation, which was received by the Consulate General of Malaysia in Jeddah from the Saudi Arabian immigration authorities.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, after 20 hours of being uncontactable, the case was classified as a missing person report. Minister Mohamad Hasan instructed the Malaysian consulate office to make every effort to assist in the search. He shared these details with reporters at the 2025 UMNO General Assembly.

Mohamad provided these updates when inquired about developments regarding the disappearance of the actress, who became uncontactable after her transit at King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah, while traveling from Kuala Lumpur to London. He added that the Malaysian consulate is working closely with Saudi police to ensure that search efforts are conducted smoothly.

Mohamad emphasized the importance of trusting the competence of the police and urged Nadia's family to remain calm, assuring them of continuous efforts to locate her. He also highlighted the responsibility of the travel agency that arranged Nadia's trip in managing the missing person case.

Earlier, Malaysian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Datuk Syed Bakri Syed Abdul Rahman, informed BERNAMA that a report had been lodged concerning the actress's disappearance, and the embassy was awaiting the results of the Saudi police investigations.
